Tiaan Vivier completed his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Stellenbosch University, where he investigated the role of seasonal energy storage and the concept of value stacking for the efficient integration of renewable energy in South Africa’s energy transition. He has expertise in power system analysis, renewable energy integration, and energy storage systems. As a Junior Engineer at the Centre, he contributes to energy system planning and sustainable energy projects.
