Theunis Oosthuizen is an Electrical Engineer at the Centre for Renewable and Sustainable Energy Studies (CRSES), Stellenbosch University, with a strong focus on renewable energy integration, geospatial analysis, and power system modelling. He enjoy working at the intersection of spatial data and grid planning, particularly where the analysis needs to produce defensible, practical outcomes. He holds a Master of Electrical Engineering from Stellenbosch University, have authored multiple peer-reviewed IEEE papers, and have presented research at international and local engineering conferences. He work well in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments and am motivated by technical problems that translate into real engineering decisions.
