After completing his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering in 2021, Johannes took the opportunity to immerse himself in the field of Long Term Power System Planning by completing a Masters of Engineering, investigating the effects of probabilistic techniques for calculating system capacity. Since then, he has been part of the modelling team at the Centre of Renewable and Sustainable Energy Studies, serving as the core of their transmission grid modelling team for various projects. Specialising in steady-state hosting capacity analysis, he is currently also expanding his skills to include dynamic studies.
