Stephani graduated with a BSc in Behavioural Genetics from the University of the Free State and began her career as a high school Science teacher. Her interest in new academic challenges led her to a different path, and she is now completing a BSc Honours in Engineering and Technology Management at the University of Pretoria, while working as a research assistant at the Centre for Renewable and Sustainable Energy Studies (CRSES).
