During the second quarter of 2026, the Centre for Renewable and Sustainable Energy Studies continued to advance renewable and sustainable energy research, innovation, skills development and community engagement. The quarter included national policy engagements, international research collaboration, community-based technology deployments, energy-system modelling, renewable heating and cooling knowledge exchange, industry-focused training, participation in innovation platforms and the successful hosting of the Southern African Sustainable Energy Conference (SASEC) 2026.
